The comittee organised another fabulous fundraising event "A Passage to India Charity Ball". 176 guests enjoyed a cocktail reception whilst being entertained by the Dohldrummers. This was followed by dinner, and dancing to Jump the Q, in the beautifully decorated marquee created by Lucy Hope of Artichoke Flower Shop, Darlington and the Committee.

The evening ended with a spectacular prize draw and auction, which was kindly match funded by Barclays Bank. The event raised over £10,000. This was all possible thanks to the generosity of the guests and the people and companies who sponsored the event.
